Is this really a dinosaur bone?

Last week on a fossil hunt at Brook Chine on the Isle of Wight, I found this small cork-shaped fossil. It is about 4cm long and slightly thicker than a pound coin. It is very hard and black. I was told that it is probably a carniverous dinosaur thigh bone, which had been eaten and then excreted by another animal. Does this sound plausible or does anyone else have any ideas whether or not it is really a dinosaur fossil? Your help would be much appreciated. Thanks
