Is this a false widow

This spider has been quite comfortable in the corner of my patio door for a while now. I've taken it down along with two more as I suspect that they're false widows. This one is a lot bigger compared to the other two caught.

Please can anyone identify it for sure?

    Hi MissC,

The spider in your photo is a Zygiella species (missing sector spider), probably Z. x-notata.

Absolutely harmless, very common in houses, especially around window frames, they seem to like car wing mirrors too.
