Spider Identification Please

Hi,

I've had two large spiders in my flat over the past two nights and cannot identify them myself.

Normally this would not bother me but as my sister was in the US for the past 3 months and stayed with us when she returned it is a small possibility that the spiders came from her luggage so was hoping to get these identified.

Spider A - This spider had no visible markings and was dark brown in colour.

Spider B - This spider has some light coloured markings on its back as seen in the photos.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

      HI darfa

I think these could be false widow spiders as they look very similar but I am not a full expert and you

would need a proper expert to fully identify them.

I agree with hjw, spider B is Steatoda nobilis. Probably not carried here from the US in luggage, as it seems to only be established on this side of the Atlantic.

Spider A - I'm afraid the photos aren't good enough to ID this spider, any chance of any more pics please?
