This is a very little moth, I don't know if it's possible to ID.
07.09.2013 - Northeast Italy
Thanks for the help!
Oh dear, I think it might be a species of Coleophoridae.
There are a LOT of species...
But you know that (http://www.nhm.ac.uk/natureplus/message/29974#29974)
List of species of C. in Italy (incomplete) - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_moths_of_Italy
Good list of C. in Italy - http://www.faunaitalia.it/checklist/invertebrates/families/Coleophoridae.html
Complete list of species of C. in Europe - http://www.lepiforum.de/lepiwiki.pl?Coleophoridae
These seem to be the closest visual match:
I really can't choose between these.
Maybe you can. Let us know if you make a decision!
(It also looks superficially like some Ypsolopha, but have a look at the labial palpi - they are very small in your specimen. In Ypsolopha, they tend to be bigger or much bigger.)
I was hoping that it was not a Coleophoridae, I think without the subject is impossible to ID the specie, so I write only the genus Coleophora.
Thanks for your help!
