According to Willemse Pholidoptera fallax is only known from Thrace in Greece.  I think this is Eupholidoptera again.

        Re: Pholidoptera fallax

My only source for information on Greek orthoptera is Willemse (1984). According to him E.chabrieri is present in north-western Greece, but only on the mainland and Corfu.  The only Pholidoptera to come anywhere near Meganisi is P.femorata, and I am familiar with that, and have never seen one like your specimen.  As you say, the answer is to collect a voucher.  Thanks for that reference.
