fly id

I know flies are hard to id from a photo, but can anyone point me in the right direction with this one?

    It's a species of hoverfly in the genus Rhingia.

     

    We have two species: Rhingia campestris (which is very common and has a black line running down the side of the abdomen) and R. rostrata (which is less common, mainly found in the south of the UK and doesn't have the dark line).

     

    I think I can see the diagnostic dark line in your pic which would make it Rhingia campestris.
