What type of dragonfly is this? ......

Hi, I took these photos this morning, 5 September 2013, of this amazing dragonfly. This beautiful creature landed on our washing line this morning and posed for me while I took photos. Can anyone please tell me what type of dragonfly this is.

Nice pics! Looks like a lovely little Common Darter (female I think), I love photographing these!
