hols 668.JPGhols 670.JPGHi I have recently been on a trip to Whitby and took a walk down onto Port Mulgrave to fossil hunt. I found the usually things expected to found on this little cove. However I also found a item I have never come over before. It does look like someone as found it before me and as attempted to tamper with it. it it appears to be of a fyborus material which has a smell of sulphur and the centre seams to be solidified sap in it that has the apperance of amber. Could you please help me to identify it. I am also wondering wether it also has tried to be burnt or melted. Thank-you. hols 669.JPG
