I have found one live beetle and two carcasses(or wing casings maybe), all of the same type in our house. Any idea what they are? And should I be worried?!
It's a vine weevil - probably Otiorhynchus sulcatus
It's a common pest on some plants. I think they're attracted to light as I've found them wandering into the house a few times before myself.
It's definitely not Liparus glabrirostris. The photo shows one of the broad-nosed weevils in the sub-family Entiminae and within that the big, round antennal scrobes (the pits where the antennae insert into the head) are characteristic of the tribe Otiorhynchini.
Liparus is in a different sub-family (Molytinae) and by comparison has a long rostrum (beak) and linear scrobes.
