Hi - clearing out grandfathers shed and found some rocks and possibly a fossil - rocks have odd lobed formation - like leaves / petal coming out of core - possibly another item is a fossil -rounded profile with one flat side 1 3/4" dia - possibly also have piece of lava lightweight but hard - pics attached -any info greatly accepted
Top two Gypsum as Mike comments 'otherwise known as 'desert rose', second two images are echinoid internal molds - please can you take a photo of the top of the echinoid? I will try to improve on the echinoid identification when the other orientation is provided.
I see why Mike suggested the last image looks like cruziana tracks, but the surrounding matrix looks more like lava to me - but might be slag or something else. It is difficult to tell from the photo.
