Help identify this please

Hi,  found this in my field this morning and just wondering if anyone can identify it for me,  it's very heavy for its size at 1.4kg

It's 15cm,  and attracts a magnet on all sides

The sag and flow marks suggest it is a piece of slag, in the sense that it is waste from smelting; but the fact that it is that magnetic and dense means it is highly metallic, so you might call it waste metal instead. Such things are often suspected to be meteorites by their collectors.

Here's good collection of types of slag - http://meteorites.wustl.edu/id/slag5.htm (there are seven pages of photos, but I've started you at p.5 because these look most like yours)
