Ice Age Gravels?

Whilst fossil hunting a few weeks ago in Ventnor on the Isle of Wight looking for Lower Chalk fossils I stumbled upon a large slippage of orange sediment and flint pebbles. They seem to originate from the top of the cliff were there is a band of gravel already present. I'd really like to know if these are Pleistocene gravels, and if there is any chance of finding anything in them if they are (I'm really interested in collecting Pleistocene bones, so that would be a bonus if they are !) Any help would be really appreciated.
