These guys are so difficulty to ID , could this be an Eupeodes and possibly corollae ?
Any help please would be appreciated.
Not Eupeodes, the typical looped vein (R4+5) on its wings tells us its a fly in the Eristalini tribe. I think it's Anasimyia lineata.
I always find wing veining very difficult to follow, I have extracted the wing from my photo and marked what I think is R4+5, .
Am I correct?
If so then I assume this segment shape ,as you say, is typical of Eristalini tribe.

Yes, you are right. I can see it better on the other wing, which is turned towards the camera so the loop is obvious.
