I wonder if anyone can ID this flower for me. It seems to be a legume of some sort, but the leaves are unusual. I don't know if it is specifically an estuary plant but was found on meadow type land near an estuary.
This is tall melilot, Melilotus altissimus.

That's the feeling I get in this sort of situation.
I felt it with Lagoecia cuminoides, having found one in a wild part of my garden (in Cyprus); I thought I might have something new, for the district at any rate... But no. Later that week, by the side of a trail, there was masses of it.
