CAN SOMEONE TELL ME THE NAME OF THIS TREE THE POLLEN SMELL WAS STRONG IN ATTRACTING BEES AND THE FLOWERS WERE SMALL AND MANY PLEASE SEE PICKS FOUND ON OUR CMP SITE NEAR RAROCHEL
I think it may be related to Daphne (4-petalled, tubular flowers with sctrong scent).
But in your plant the flowers are pendant (daphne tend to be more erect).
So I suspect it is either an unusual Daphne, or a Daphne-relative in the Thymelaceae (but I can't see anything obvious there).
Anybody else recognize it?...
