Helix pomatia? Cepaea nemoralis?

DSCF0949.JPGDSCF8746.JPG

I may be a Biology teacher, but gastropods are not my area. Have I correctly identified these two snails? The upper ones were photographed on the shingle ridge at Slapton and I would suggest Helix pomatia. The lower image was taken slightly inland from Slapton Ley (on the path from the nature reserve up to Slapton village). As a banded snail, I immediately think of Cepaea nemoralis, often discussed when talking about natural selection with the relative numbers of the various morphs differing according to the habitat.

Can anyone confirm the above identifications or correct me if I am wrong?

Many thanks

Steve
