Can anyone help identify the spiders which are invading my conservatory. They are about 1mm across (tiny), bright red, crawl, usually upwards and are most active on hot, sunny days. If you accidentally squash them they leave a red stain which cannot be removed from furnishings etc. Sorry the picture is poor but they are so small I cannot get good magnification.
Not a spider but a Red Spider Mite. There are a few different types some only feed on plant matter while others are significant pests to poultry. There is a lot of information available on the web on these little fellows.
