Help, biting insects

We have some unidentifed biting insects that creates nasty and itchy bites, mostly at night. The house has been tretead for bed bugs but we still get some bites. However, the pest control guy couldn't see any bed bugs so we are not sure. We have also found this bug close to the door and our shoes, suspecting that they have come in with our shoes and might be the cause of these bites. The size is around 2 mm and they seem to jump, not fly. Fleas?

Please can anyone identify this guy and say if he could give use those itching bites? Finally to prevent them to come into the house and stop them.

    Hello there.

This is a flea. They're pretty easy to get rid of, check the net.
