Black Wasp with white spot ID Required

The above specimen was running around on the leaf litter and over brambles in a wooded area which has open glades and ponds around. Trees include Oak, Ash, Birch, Field Maple, Hazel, Aspen, Wild Service, Cherry, Apple, Holy, Pines, Hawthorn and Blackthorn. The soil is Weald Clay in Kent (UK).


The appearance was generally black with a small waste, a white spot on its back and a white section mid antennae.


Help with Identification for this insect with be greatfully recieved.
