This beetle was found inside my house in central Andalucia. The head is small and hidden under the thorax. It has small light brown altennae. The thorax is metallic blue. The dark parts of the elytra also have a metallic sheen. The insect has a covering of short golden-brown hairs. The overall length is 10mm. I can't find it in the book covering this area by Michael Chinery.
That is a Trichodes (Cleridae). Unfortunately I don't have the literature that will identify it to species. I wouldn't make a guess on the basis of internet pictures becasue the patterning can be a bit variable.
