Could you please identify this bone dug up in garden.
This is a neck vertebra of a bird, judging by the apparent size something around the size of a goose/cormorant/swan. If you can measure the length I may be able to narrow it down a bit more (and give a location)
It measures 35mm by 20mm. We found two which look exactly the same except the second one was slightly larger than this size.

This size would make it a swan, whooper swan vertebrae are slightly smaller than mute swan but both have neck vertebrae that can be 35mm by 20mm
It was found in Thundersley, Essex.
