Small shiny brown spider

Can you please identify this small dark brown spider? It was on my sitting room carpet, today, April 24th. The body length was about 4-5mm and it moved quite quickly. After photographing it I removed it to the garden. I live near Tonbridge, Kent.

Thanks,

Barry

It's a Steatoda, and I think it's S. bipunctata, a very common species found in houses and other buildings. I find them occasionally in my house.
