Can anybody identify this jaw-bone?

I found this on the beach at Swalecliffe, Kent this morning. The Environment Agency have recently been doing some sea defence work at this point, and it is possible they may have disturbed it from its resting place. Is the long piece of bone protruding beyond the teeth unusual and an indicator of the type of animal it came from?
