I found dozens of these tonight on the beach, they are leathery and plant like when wet and dry out fairly hard, does anyone know what they are ?
They're the eggcases of Euspira catena or necklace shell, constructed of mucus & sand. See http://www.marlin.ac.uk/speciesinformation.php?speciesID=3325 for pictures & description, & http://www.ispot.org.uk/node/294278
This is an unmistakable case, both the picture & the description, still not correctly marked by the system
honestly... all i've seen going through these posts is you commenting to yourself about the system malfunctioning and questions not being marked as answered once you've given a perfect answer?? does it really matter that much? and even then, why does it matter so much that you have to keep complaining about it on nearly every post you comment on? poor florin has to keep telling you why things aren't working etc... i don't want to be rude but it's starting to really annoy me.
