Beetle identification please

I am seeing these beetles everywhere lately in the log cabin I live in.

I was wondering if anyone knew what it is. I hope it's nothing destructive

As the cabin I live in is a wooden structure.

It's a vine weevil, Otiorhynchus sulcatus.  It won't eat your cabin but it will eat your houseplants, or at least its grubs will eat their roots, after which they will die.  Check around your houseplant roots for white grubs about half an inch long.  If you don't have housplants then they must be coming in from outdoors, which can happen overwinter.
