Can anyone help identify this??

I found this in a local river, I guess it is a claw from an animal.

There is a flat edge to it and it is around 60mm in length.

    You don't say where 'local' is; this can be a very international site! I am assuming you are in the UK. Whilst claws do look very much like this they would decay very rapidly in water and would be very soft following immersion. I think this is a pig tooth, do a goolgle image search and see if it fits.
