Could someone please assist with the i.d of this tree and any things to look out for?
I think these are probably Sycamore trees, Acer pseudoplatanus.
That is based mainly on the leaf bud shape, size and arrangement. They are large, fat and arranged in a near opposite pattern on the twig and in small clusters at the ends.
If the tree were Beech, Fagus sylvatica, the buds would be slender and pointed, or if it were a Lime, Tilia sp., they would be reddish and rounded.
