Please help identify this Cyprus find

This partial skull(?) was found in my neighbour's garden in Cyprus. I can make no sense of it and any suggestions would be very welcome. It could be just about anything were it not for the 2 strange projections either side. These are hollow,  rigidly attached and fairly thin bone. I have it to hand and can provide any further pictures or measurements that might help.
