About two and a quarter inches of this fossil is sticking out from a rock beside Portland Harbour in Dorset. The bit which looks like little legs is about half an inch long and about a quarter of an inch high. The rest is a thin band and more shell-like. Partt of that longer bit part has tiny holes in a row.
I realise this isn't an entirely adequate picture but the light was poor, the rock bendy and I didn't, when I took it, know I could upload it here for ID. Another time, I'll include something to show the measure. Meanwhile . . . anyone know what it is?
