Where did it come from? It's quite a blurry photo but it doesn't look quite right to me, like someone has taken some genuine fossil teeth and maybe some bone and carved the head shape. The teeth look like that of other marine reptiles rather than croc. Some better pics would help.
My husband bought it for me at a fleamarket. The man he bought it from only told him it was a crocodile skull. I have seen him selling fossils before and he always has an impressive collection. Sorry if the pictures are not the best quality they were taken on my phone. It measures 14 1/2 inches. I will insert more pictures. Hope they help. Thanks.
it 'looks' like a croc skull, but it has a look of a fake to me...
as Rhys says; the teeth may be genuine fossils, but to be with the skull like that would be rare, and hence expencive.
there is a big trade in fake fossils, where they mount teeth into a row and then carve a jawbone into place, in your case a whole skull.
the scull itself has not got any sign of the chariteristic patterns you see on reptile bone, and the scull has very poor symmetry.
some of the teeth look like genuine croc teeth but is difficult to say from your photos
sorry about that, but hope that helps!
