This spider was found in a house in Swindon and i think it's a false widow but don't know what kind? It also bit someone on the finger so there is a photo of the bite. Please help!
It is a steatoda grossa, one of our native false widow species.
It does not have any long lasting effects
could be a european garden spider
Its bite can be unpleasent but harmless
they can grow up to 2cm big
TO SUM UP THEY ARE HARMLESS AND CANNOT HURT YOU !!
It is definitely not a European garden spider (Araneus diadematus).
