Can anyone identify this?

    Looks like a fossilized shark tooth to me although it is not showing any serrations, these could have been eroded away over the years.

    hi

    i think you will find that its just a bit of flint.

    flint can come in every shape and size you can think of...

    in this case, tooth shape, but you can see the base is compleatly made of flint, and so i assume is the rest.

    it could have been a burrow filled in and remineralised, but we are culching at straws im afraid.

    not a fossil, bad luck this time.
