This is currently sitting on my shed door and I find it very strange. Can someone please confirm this is just a normal Harvestman? It's legs look so....straight!
It is a harvestman (Opiliones) and yes... Well, it is quite normal for a Dicranopalpus ramosus, which i think it is (but I'm no expert on those fellas), to sit like this.
Oh...ok. Thanks for that. I've so many in the garden but have never seen one that doesn't appear to have jointed legs. Think I'll give it a quick tickle as I'm intrigued to see how it walks with such straight legs.
You can see the joints as thicker brownish bumps on the legs, the outer segments of the legs are, however, very long. So, it walks quite like a nornal abnormal harvestman.
