On a guided insect walk this p.m. at Rainham Marshes but nobody, including the guides, knew what this was.
Although it can't be seen there was a white spot at the end of the abdomen.
That's an Ichneumon wasp in the Cryptinae sub-family. Perhaps Agrothereutes sp. which have brachypterous (shorter than body length) wings. Compare to a very similar one I found recently:
