During our holiday to Sweden - 50km from the Norwegian border at about 62,75 degrees N, height around 650 m - we found this plant. Back home we tried to fnd the proper scienific name without any succes. Who can help me? Martin, The Netherlands.
Well, we are in Sagina, and although we (I'm allowed to say we, because I'm from Sweden) have some more species in our northern mountains, I'm willing to shoot for Sagina nodosa. But from this photo alone I cannot be completely certain. But I beleve that I'm right, as I always do - regardless of how wrong I am. That is my strength!
Dear Epistophagus. Thank you for your helpful answer. Despite your formidable strength I think the name S precumbens (Swedish: 'krypnarv') is more fit. But that conclusion is based more on my unreliable memory then it is on my picture... Martin.
