Can someone idntify the attached caterpillar.
It is approximately 45 millimetresin length.
The thickness of a childs little finger.
Brightly coloured with a tuft at both head and tail.
The image was taken close to a lake in North East Lincolnshire.
Caterpillar of the drinker moth, Euthrix potatoria, I reckon.
Many thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
I am not a moth expert, butterfly lava no problem, your help was much appreciated.
