Bee with a parasite?

Can someone please tell me what is on the bee's head i took this pic at Langford Lakes Wiltshire. Thanks Leigh

    Its antennae?

     

    That's not a bee's head, it's a fly's head. It's probably a drone fly, Eristalis tenax, a type of hoverfly, though I'm no expert on flies.
