what it this tree?

I have purchased this tree today cheap because there is no label. Can you tell me what it is, does it look healthy, should I prune it and how to plant it, thank you Christinetree 001.jpg

    It is a maple (Acer sp.) of which there are many species in gardens. To me this doesn't look too unlike a sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus), of which there are many varieties - like variegatum, which have leaves blotched with white (cells lacking chloroplasts - it is thus more slow-growing). The brown spotting on the leaves might be Tar spot, Rhytisma acerinum.
