Can anyone identify this water-living fungus?

This fungus? has an orange cap up to 1 cm in size currently and lives just below the source of an underground spring, situated about 800 feet ASL. The water is quite likely to be acidic, like our own spring water. I suspect that there may be permanent running water here, summer and winter. The habitat is quite a small one as the sprinq water soon disperses and is lost into general boggy ground, which it doesn't seem to like. Many thanks, Bob
