Can anyone ID this insect that I keep finding on my net curtains in various rooms around the house?
I took the pictures of it on a piece of paper after getting it off the net curtain. It's not very big at all, only about 2-3mm long. I just keep coming across them quite often and wondered what they are. Presumably I don't need to be worried?
Thanks for any help.
Well this could be interesting. The first image shows that this is a more 'stretched' beetle than Anthrenus and looks to be Trogodera angustum, which is a recent and introduced museum pest in the UK, but I am not aware of it turning up more broadly. Could I ask you to pot a few up and post these in to the NHM?

Thanks for the information. I have managed to find two more today and catch them, I will email you with details so I can post them. Just another note, they appear to have wings as when I was collecting them I could clearly see them stretching their wings but they didn't actually fly off.
