I found this bug on a lighted window in Lincs last year (date not recorded).
I thought that the two small pits on the scutellum might provide a clue - but not for this amateur!
Overall length, nose to wingtip, is 9.5mm.
Is an ID possible, please?

That looks pretty good to me.
The species coloration seems pretty variable but the final adult view in the link you posted looks good.
The 'nbn.org.uk' site indicates that there are previous recordings in my area so I'll let the local recorder have the detail.
