I Thought It Was A Centipede Trapped In A Web

It was thought to be a centipede trapped in a spider web under the eaves of his kitchen which is frequently inspected for Tube Web Spiders and other of their cousins. While his un-spectacled eyes could not discern the focused detail of the elongated wiggling thing he, nevertheless, snapped its digital struggle, then, lifted it out of its entrapment onto his left forefinger from where it appeared to drop to an undiscerning freedom. Only, later, he saw on his laptop, with regained glasses, it was a small dried Tamerix twig entwined and girating in the dark night's late October breeze which had flummoxed the four-score-and-six's eyesight.
