Insect found in the Bolivian Amazon

Please help in identifying the attached insect, I took the photo in the Bolivian Amazon basin, Madidi National Park, 10 days hike from the Beni River near Rurrenabaque in March 2005.

    Maybe the spiny lobster bush cricket, Panoploscelis specularis. Pictures on the internet look close but it's only a suggestion. But this report from that area mentions finding them -

    I went to Rurrenabque many years ago and took a brief expedition up the Rio Beni - great time. Did you see lots of wildlife? Did you organise the trip in Rurrenabaque? Did you travel along 'the most dangerous road in the world' to get to Rurrenabaque?
