I have been finding these insects for a few months now, mostly in the kitchen area but on occassion upstairs also.
They measure between 2-3mm in length, are almost flat and move very slowly.
I generally find them in the morning and mostly only one at a time.
If anyone can help ID these and also advise how best to get rid of them I will be very grateful.
Yes - you are correct - it is a carpet beetle larvae commonly known as a Wooly Bear... I also know that they like flour and you often do find them in cupboards.
