From the acclaimed to the curious, every scientist at the Museum has at least one favourite among our 70-million-strong collection of specimens. Desert Island Specimens is a regular platform where visitors can quiz scientists about the three specimens that inspire their fascination and contemplation, anything from meteorites to giant whale skeletons.
