Artist Miranda Harris began a sculpture based on the Megatherium (giant sloth) skeleton outside the Birds gallery, and soon found herself becoming drawn into the controversies, hypotheses and mysteries surrounding it. She talks about the animals anatomy, its history as an object of scientific interest, and the process of sculpting it.
