Hints and tips
Searches may result in no specimens being found. Make sure that the search criteria used make geological sense. For example, searching for trilobites from Kent will result in no specimens because rocks from Kent are too young to contain trilobites. Alternatively, because the database is not exhaustive, it may be that it does not contain representative specimens for your particular search criteria.
There must be fewer than 60 specimens selected in order to be able to launch the viewing window.
If a search results in more than 60 specimens use another search criteria to further reduce the number selected.
Use the back button to modify a search.
The datasite opens several different windows – make sure you quit these when you have finished.
