Japanese folkore

An entirely different legend about fossil sharks' teeth developed in Japan. Here teeth of the giant shark Carcharadon megalodon are in folklore thought to be the thumbnails of Tengu Man, a mythical mountain goblin with a Pinnochio-like long nose.
