Sketch map of Niagara Falls sent by Wallace to his daughter Violet, dated March 1887.
Wallace drew this sketch map of Niagara Falls to share with his daughter Violet. The map was enclosed with a letter describing the beauty of the area. He has labelled the key features including Horseshoe Fall, Goat Island, the Three Sisters (islands) and his hotel, Prospect House. According to his letter, Luna Island, next to the American Fall on the map, was Wallace's favourite feature.
