Mary E. Eaton was an accomplished botanical artist.
She was employed by the New York Botanical Garden
where she prepared many hundreds of illustrations
for the Garden’s periodical Addisonia.
The Natural History Museum holds over 200 watercolours
of her drawings of North American Plants.
